In Norway, people have always harvested from nature. Glitne does so in an innovative manner: by using water from deep down in the the fjords, with minimal pollution to both land and sea. In this way, Glitne leaves a small footprint in our common natural heritage, both in the landscape and in the environment.
Gods and Jotuns, Vikings and emperors have travelled through these landscapes throughout the ages, but they have not left lasting, damaging traces behind them. Nor will Glitne. Our fjords should remain a pristine and attractive destination also in the future.
